Built for the Bam Jam collective at Kelburn Estate, Scotland, this project transformed a disused fishing boat into a temporary performance space for live music, jam sessions and DJ sets. Designed to adapt throughout the festival, the structure supported multiple modes of performance within a compact footprint.
My role focused on art direction and coordinating a multidisciplinary team of artists to develop the installation. The boat was imagined as a submerged wreck resting on the ocean floor, with marine growth, coral formations and discarded plastic woven into the environment. The installation became both an immersive performance setting and a subtle reflection on marine pollution and the material afterlife of our landscapes.
